About
Gil is a Personal Trainer at InsideOut. He is a 3rd-year undergrad at York University who is studying Kinesiology & Health Sciences. He is a certified/accredited by The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) offering a vast wealth of knowledge as he actively engages in training, integrates his learning into his training methodology, and has experience working with clients. Last year, Gil captained Team Canada in soccer at the Maccabiah Games, which attests to his capabilities as a leader as well as his dependability as a teammate. At InsideOut, Gil will lead you towards your goals and support you along the way. He is a dedicated individual who is devoted to helping others; his other career aspirations are to work in medicine/ emergency care, but working with people to help them achieve their personal fitness goals aligns greatly with his motivation. His passion resides in the fact that he understands the tumultuous experiences that encompass a fitness journey, and knows that with his knowledge and personal fitness expertise, that he will be able to put together workouts which will help clients to achieve their fitness goals enjoyably and effectively. His athletic accomplishments such as medalling bronze in the 2019 Team Canada games, winning the TDSB city championship in Badminton, and his league championship with North Toronto Soccer, etc., speak to his athletic expertise derived from 12 years of TSA soccer, 8 years of GTHL hockey, 2 years of OTA tennis, and various honors as part of TDSB sports. Gil believes that self- improvement is a beautiful process and wants to be the guide in propelling your health & fitness journey.
