Discovering My Bliss In Group Class Fun!
This summer, a casual scroll through LinkedIn turned into an outdoor fitness adventure for me. A repost by a friend caught my eye—it was about a potential opportunity with InsideOut Fitness Studio. Little did I know that this simple click would lead me to embark on a fitness journey that would transform my perspective on exercise.
After reaching out and connecting with the InsideOut team, I was warmly welcomed into their community and encouraged to join their group classes. I decided to give it a shot and headed to the park one Tuesday evening, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast.
I am accustomed to the traditional, large indoor gym settings, complete with music in my headphones and that internal dialogue pushing me through my sets—“Just two more sets, then you can go home!” But joining a group and stepping outside for a workout opened my eyes to a whole new world. The park, with its open skies and the trainers’ well-organized exercises in the sunshine, made me rethink my relationship with fitness. I realized that maybe I didn’t need to dread exercise after all.
The structured group class was a welcome change from my usual gym routine. Instead of feeling like a chore, working out became something I genuinely looked forward to. The sessions were infused with fun—like speed drills, agility exercises, and even team challenges. Who knew that working out with others could be such a motivating experience? My legs would be sore, but my spirits were definitely high!
As Summer begins to wrap up and a new season kicks in, I’m reflecting on the impact these weekly classes have had on me. After taking a break from the gym since returning home from school in April, these sessions have reintroduced me to that satisfying post-workout soreness and the accompanying feel-good vibes. A shoutout is definitely due to Michael, one of my favorite trainers at InsideOut. His dedication and ability to push me to my limits while keeping things enjoyable were truly appreciated.
Joining InsideOut Fitness has been a fantastic experience. Not only have I made meaningful connections and improved my teamwork skills, but I’ve also toned my muscles, boosted my cardio, and discovered a newfound enjoyment in outdoor fitness. Here’s to more sunlit workouts and the joy of outdoor exercise!
